Q. What are the documents and things required to be submitted at the time of handing over the vehicle for scrapping?

Ans. The following documents and things are required to be submitted by the customer at the time of handing over the vehicle.

• RC Book
• Address Proof
• Pan Card of the Registered Owner
• Cancelled Cheque (Containing the printed name of the Registered Owner of vehicle for the purpose of remitting payment only)
• Vehicle Keys

Q. How is the price of the vehicle to be scrapped evaluated?

Ans. Based on criteria such as the make, model, condition at the time of handing over etc, we will offer you an approximate price on call/website. The actual and final price will be concluded and confirmed by us only after the physical inspection of the vehicle.

Q. Will I get any receipt/document at the time of handing over of my vehicle?

Ans. We will provide you the following documents from our end.

• A Payment Receipt which will contain the details of your vehicle, amount to be paid to you, pick up time for your vehicle etc, at the time of handing over of the vehicle.
• A Certificate of Destruction for your vehicle will be issued by us within 48 hours of receiving the vehicle for scrapping.

Q. Will my vehicle be accepted for scrapping even if it is in a damaged condition or some/any part of the vehicle is missing?

Ans. Yes, we accept such vehicles however the price to be paid to the Owner of the vehicle for scrapping of such vehicle will vary and depend on the actual physical condition of the vehicle. We assure that the price offered from our end will be a transparent and fair amount.

Q. Is there any other/extra charges to be paid by the Owner at the time of handing over a vehicle for scrapping?

Ans. In case the vehicle is handed over by the Owner himself at our collection center then there is no other charge to be paid by the Owner. However in case the Owner desires that the vehicle needs to be picked up from his/her location then extra charges for towing the vehicle will be applicable and need to be paid by the Owner at the time of picking up of the vehicle itself.

Q. Do I have to inform the RTO Authority at the time of handing over my vehicle for scrapping?

Ans. As a mandatory procedure from our end and the detail of every vehicle that is dismantled at our collection center will be sent to the respective RTO. The Owner should take the Certificate of Deposit/Destruction (CoD) to the respective RTO Authority for cancellation of Registration of vehicle.

Q. Do I have to be a Registered Owner of the vehicle to give it for scrapping?

Ans. Yes, the vehicle for scrapping is accepted only from the Registered Owner with all the necessary documents at the time of handing over the same. (Documents should be self attested xerox for submission and original for verification)

Q. Should I get the vehicles de-register in RTO, is that mandatory?

Ans. You are supposed to get it de-register for your own satisfaction and safety. it is important.
